This bodywork, also known as Therapeutic Circulatory Massage, is a fairly vigorous style of massage that is designed to energize, invigorate or “wake up” the body through increased blood circulation. It is geared to both maintain health and treat illness.
Therapeutic Massage uses a system of long gliding strokes, kneading and friction techniques on the more superficial layers of muscle, generally in the direction of blood flow toward the heart because there is an emphasis on improving blood flow to the soft tissue and sometimes combined with active and passive movement of the joints. It is used to promote general relaxation, improve circulation and range of motion, and relieve muscle tension.
What to expect during a session?
Therapeutic Massage is a complete, full body treatment using oil or cream. This massage is done with the client nude, draped with a sheet or large towel, only exposing the area of the body which is being worked. It’s very beneficial to drink plenty of water after a treatment to flush out toxins from your system.
60 minute sessions cost $80.00
